With his own unique brand of trickery, young Irish illusionist Keith Barry has been blowing the minds of American audiences and celebrities including Justin Timberlake, Lindsay Lohan and Elijah Wood.

In this one hour special for UK screens, Keith Barry: The Escape – Live, Keith will perform illusions and tricks, baffling and scaring some of our own famous faces in the process.

The show will culminate in a live, nerve-wracking finale: The Escape. Keith will be cocooned and bound to a chair by one hundred feet of rope. He'll then be bundled inside a garden shed which will be packed with explosives. Once inside, the shed will be sealed and the fuse lit leaving Keith with limited time to escape before everything is blown sky high.

Among other tricks in the show the Blind Drive sees Keith driving a car at ridiculous speeds along a winding coastal road, while blindfolded. Two celebrity passengers, neither of whom is aware of what the stunt is before stepping into the vehicle, will act as his eyes, as they're the only person able to see the perilous bends and oncoming cars ahead.

In The White Room: Hijacked, two famous faces have to avoid being stabbed straight through the hand. In a brilliant trick that simply involves upturned polystyrene cups and identical wooden coasters they must use their intuition to find the one that hides a six-inch metal spike.

Celebrities taking part in the programme are Adele Silva, Nadine Coyle, Denise Van Outen, Lousie Redknapp, Duncan James and Brian Dowling.
