24 Hours With Lee Ryan

24 Hours With... Lee Ryan

ITV1's 24 Hours With... series continues on Monday 25th June with Lee Ryan, former member of boy band Blue, in the firing line of host Jamie Campbell.

The show provides an innovative twist on the traditional chat show as celebrity and interviewer spend an intense 24 hours locked in a room together.

Lee must leave his mobile phone and PR adviser at the door as viewers are given an insight into his true character. He admits that this is 'probably the most truthful I've ever been'.

Lee opens up about the alter ego he has created for the media as a barrier against negative comments and the mistakes he feels he made in his relationship with former Atomic Kitten, Liz McClarnon.

Lee and Jamie hit it off so well that they even collaborate on a song; however this harmony is short lived as Lee fumes when Jamie reads the lyrics to a satirical song he has written about Lee's close friend, Elton John.

Also on the agenda are the media's reaction to the singer's controversial comments about the 9/11 terrorist attacks, 'kiss and tells' and Lee's conspiracy theories on aliens - although he fears this section may be removed by the government!

24-minute shows

Each 24-minute show in the series tells the story of a celebrity's 24 hours in the hot seat, with a digital clock at the bottom of the screen marking the passing of the day.

The first two shows of the series saw former 80's legend Bobby Brown and style icon Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen being grilled by Campbell, a provocative journalist and documentary maker with a disarmingly honest approach and a natural gift for the killer question.

Stir in the sensibility of a stand up comedian and you have the perfect ingredients for a chat show like no other.

Stars under the spotlight in forthcoming shows include Jackass stuntman Steve-O, footballer-come-actor Stan Collymore and the inimitable David Gest.
