Reese Witherspoon in drugs comedy
Friday, 19 June 2009
Reese Witherspoon is to star in a comedy about the pharmaceutical industry.
The 'Four Christmases' actress will also produce 'Pharm Girl', which follows an ambitious employee who rises through the ranks of a shady drugs company.
The movie is being penned by 'Bad Santa' and 'I Love You, Philip Morris' scriptwriters Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who are also in talk to direct the project, sparking speculation that what is being billed as an "aspirational comedy" will have a darker side.
The film is one of several comedy projects coming up for Reese.
She is currently producing and filming 'Nice', will then appear in an as-yet untitled James L. Brooks film and is in talks to co-star with Ben Stiller in futuristic comedy 'Used Guys'.
