Oasis' toy track

Oasis recorded their new album using toy instruments.
Guitarist Noel Gallagher claims the "plastic" sitar used on 'Dig Out Your Soul' track 'To Be Where There's Life' cost just £12.50.
Speaking on 'Gold and Silver and Sunshine - The Making of 'Dig Out Your Soul' documentary, Noel said: "You know the sitar is not a real one? It's a toy electric one, a plastic one.
"They're shaped like a sitar, and they've got a speaker on the front. You switch it on and you pick the key, and you leave it there!
"We had it in The Beatles' echo chamber at Abbey Road studios, which is like this tiled room where they've got all the reverbs. It looked hilarious. In this really famous room is this little tiny plastic sitar with this massive mic that's worth about £50,000. And the sitar's worth about £12.50..."
Meanwhile, Noel has admitted he didn't know 'Dig Out Your Soul' was being previewed on the band's MySpace page, saying he only found out about the advance listening when he read it in the newspaper.
He added: "I don't have any opinion on that sort of thing. I don't get involved. I've done a little bit for the website in the past. Are people streaming it on MySpace? Good luck to them.
"Somebody texted me today with it all and a load of jargon that I don't understand and I was going, 'Yes, I don't know what that means...but yes.' "
