Guitarist Noel Gallagher: "We're making serious enquiries as to how much one of these private jets cost. We think with a bit of creative accounting we could probably afford one."
Noel already has a name in mind for the aircraft, inspired by the current worldwide economic downturn.
He added: "We've christened ours 'The Credit-Crunch'. It's the only way to fly!"
Oasis' tour will see the band - Liam, Noel, Gem Archer and Andy Bell - play over 50 concerts across the globe, featuring dates in Mexico, Italy, Spain, Germany, the US and a host of huge stadium shows in the UK, including a trio of nights at London's Wembley Stadium.
