Michael Jackson's album wait
Tuesday, 7 October 2008
Michael Jackson won't release an album in the near future.
The 'Thriller' singer has been working on his comeback record for two years but Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am - who has been collaborating with Michael on the release - thinks fans face a long wait before they hear any new material from the star.
He told BBC Radio 1Xtra: "There's all these artists in the world like Ne-Yo, Chris Brown and Usher, Justin Timberlake, Fergie and Rhianna and then there's Michael Jackson.
"Michael Jackson has a different pace and you can not put Michael Jackson in that category especially when a lot of those artists have been inspired by Michael Jackson.
"So Michael Jackson is gonna release his record when he releases his record."
Michael's last release was 2001's 'Invincible'.
