Mark Ronson's Roses Chiefs

Mark Ronson thinks Kaiser Chiefs sound like Guns N' Roses.
The producer, who worked with the band on their current album 'Off With Their Heads', was keen to collaborate with the 'Oh My God' hitmakers because of their similarities to the American rock band.

Mark said: "I didn't tell them this because they probably would have been mortally offended, but they reminded me of Slash and Duff from Guns N' Roses.
"That play between the guitar and bass is quite punky-thrashy, but very heavy at the same time. I was trying to bring that out in the album."
Mark - who is best known for producing Amy Winehouse's award-winning LP 'Back To Black' - says he also relished the challenge of working with the group because they are so different to anyone else he has produced.
He added to Rolling Stone magazine: "There are only so many female solo artists you can produce. I feel like it's time to not only branch out, but just change the scope of sound a bit."
