Jason Donovan's music return
Wednesday, 3 September 2008
Jason Donovan is releasing a new album.
The former 'Neighbours' actor - whose last LP 'All Around The World' flopped in 1993 - says 'Let It Be Me' is inspired by music from the late 1950s and early 1960s.
The collection features covers of classic tracks including 'Blue Velvet', 'Love Hurts' and 'Smoke Gets In My Eyes'.
The album is due for release in November.
The 40-year-old star - who used to date pop princess Kylie Minogue - revived his career by appearing on ITV reality show 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!', in which he came third.
He also starred in short-lived soap 'Echo Beach' alongside Martine McCutcheon. He married long-term partner Angela Malloch in June this year.
