Fall Out Boy's album plan
Thursday, 28 August 2008
Fall Out Boy will release a new album in November.
The 'This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race' rockers confirmed on their website that they will be bringing out 'Folie a Deux' before they end of the year as a free download.
Explaining the title, bassist Pete Wentz said: "The title of the new album is 'Folie a Deux'. It means 'the shared madness of two' - thank you, Dictionary.com."
The record is set for release on November 4 - American election day - but the band insist that isn't a sign of the album's lyrical content.
Pete said: "It's not an overtly political record, but I'm not gonna say what it is."
Singer Patrick Stump added: "We'll just let the record speak for itself, but it is coming out on Election Day."
'Folie A Deux' is the follow-up to 2007's 'Infinity On High'.
