Faces reunion on
Thursday, 13 November 2008
Rod Stewart has confirmed the Faces are reforming.
The veteran rocker has revealed all the remaining original members of the 70s band - Rod, Ronnie Wood, Ian McLagan and Kenny Jones - are meeting at a studio on Monday (17.11.08) where they will start practicing their back catalogue.
If the rehearsals go well, the band will reform fully with the goal of completing a tour together.

Rod, 63, plans to use his current touring bassist if the band play any live shows, following the death of the group's original bass guitarist Ronnie Lane in 1997.
Rumours the Faces were set to reform were sparked earlier this year when Rod and Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie were spotted deep in discussion at a London restaurant.
A source said at the time: "The two of them had a great time reminiscing. They were having a laugh but there is still a serious hunger to get back in the studio. There are plans for the band to start recording."
The group split in 1975 and Rod went on to enjoy an incredibly successful solo career.
The full line-up reunited briefly to play at one of Rod's Wembley Stadium concerts, in London, in 1986.
In 1993, the band - minus bassist Lane who was suffering from Multiple Sclerosis at the time - performed at the BRIT Awards when Rod was honoured with a lifetime achievement award.
