Arctic Monkeys' Josh song
Thursday, 9 October 2008
Arctic Monkeys are teaming up with Josh Homme on their new album.
The Sheffield rockers have revealed that the Queens of the Stone Age star is producing tracks for their highly-anticipated third album.
Arctic Monkeys' frontman Alex Turner said: "We've been recording the new album with Josh Homme. It's been going really well but it's still early stages at this point."
Josh hinted at the collaboration earlier this summer, saying the 'Brianstorm' singers were heading to the California desert to "submerge themselves in something else and do some tracks."
He added: "That's the sort of pressure-free, 'Lets do something cool' environment that really pays musical dividends at the end."
However, Josh never confirmed he was talking about recording sessions for their next album.
