Bill Nighy for Potter
Thursday, 2 July 2009
Bill Nighy has confirmed that he will appear in 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows'.
The 'Boat That Rocked' star admitted he has been asked to join the cast of the final instalment of the wizard franchise - which is being split into two movies - but refused to say who he will be playing.
He is quoted as saying: "I don't think I'm allowed to say it but I'm going to be in the next 'Harry Potter' film. I won't say which character, but he's a goodie. I just got the gig."
Although he refused to name the character he will portray, it has been previously rumoured that Bill was in the running to play Minister of Magic Rufus Scrimgeour.
The sixth movie, 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' is out on July 15.
'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' will be released in two parts, in November 2010 and July 2011.
