Vin Diesel's Riddick return
Thursday, 28 August 2008
Vin Diesel is planning to reprise his Richard Riddick character for two more movies.
Despite a poor box office performance to the second instalment of the 'Pitch Black' franchise, 'The Chronicles of Riddick', the actor insists at least two further films will be made - but admits they may not happen immediately.

He said: "Everyone knows I love the Riddick character and I'm always working on it.
"It just takes five years to make another one because David Twohy and I are so precious about it. Sooner or later we all end up in the Underverse."
Vin - whose girlfriend Paloma Jiminez gave birth to their child in April - also revealed working closely with young children on 'Pacifier' inspired him to want to start a family.
He explained: "I remember while I was doing 'Pacifier', working with babies on the set for so long, it really started to bring out this desire to have a child. And it took a couple years after that to find the right person and to hopefully be mature enough to be a great father which is really all you want to do. It's amazing how it becomes your primary focus.
"Whenever the babies on set started crying, they'd call me and I'd walk over and say, 'OK, I can handle this.' I'd pick up the baby who was crying and make this little noise, like, 'Eeeeeee,' and the baby would stop crying. They actually had some t-shirts made up for the crew that had 'Eeeeeee' on them."
