Vanessa Hudgens' co-star fear
Monday, 10 August 2009
Vanessa Hudgens was "freaked out" by her 'Beastly' co-star.
The actress appears alongside Alex Pettyfer in the Manhatten high school-based retelling of classic fairy tale 'Beauty and the Beast' and admits she was uncomfortable around the actor when he was in full make-up.
She said: "It was crazy, I saw the picture of his 'Beast' make-up for like a millisecond and then I was like, 'Oh no, I can't look!'
"I waited until I got to see him in person and it moved me in a really weird and peculiar way. It's so mind-blowing the prosthetics they've done on him. He changes as a complete person. I was freaked out, honestly."
Mary-Kate Olsen also stars in the movie, as a transfer student who curses handsome Kyle Kingson - played by Alex - so that he becomes hideously disfigured.
Vanessa plays Linda, the beautiful daughter of a drug addict who is sent to live with Kyle's family.
