Thursday, 18 June 2009
Shia LaBeouf has let slip he will be starring in a new 'Indiana Jones' movie.
The actor - who played the daredevil archaeologist's son Mutt in 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' - has revealed director Steven Spielberg has finished the plot and is ready to start shooting.

Shia said: "Steven just said that he cracked the story on it, and I think they're gearing it up."
Rumours are rife that Mutt will be the lead character in the proposed movie with whip-wielding 'Indy', played by Harrison Ford, taking a less prominent part.
Producer George Lucas further fuelled speculation by saying: "I haven't told Steven or Harrison this, but I have an idea to make Shia the lead character next time and have Harrison come back like Sean Connery did in the third movie. I can see it working out."
Connery played Dr. Henry Jones, Indiana's father, in 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade'.
