Ice T's hair pledge
Thursday, 21 August 2008
Ice T says he will "grow his hair back" if it means he gets a part in 'The A-Team' remake.
The rapper has been hotly tipped to take over from Mr. T as B.A. Barracus in the remake and says he will do whatever it takes to get the part.
He said: "I was a fan of Mr. T growing up. I was a fan of 'The A-Team'. Clubber Lang is one of my favourite villains, so to speak. I'd be honoured. I'd grow my hair back. Cut me a Mohawk. Call my jeweller. And then rock it. No doubt."
The 'Longshots' star also revealed that, despite his Hollywood success, he would never turn his back on his music career.
He added to Parade.com: "The creative freedom that records give me. I don't know if you could ever get from movies. I can just go in there with me and my producer and do what we want to do.
"But with movies it's more of collaboration. It's a big team. It's a lot of people working on one project. I don't think I'll ever stop making records even if people don't buy them."
