Bruce Lee trilogy

Bruce Lee trilogy

Wednesday, 22 July 2009

Bruce Lee's family are to produce a trilogy about his life.

The late martial arts actor - who died 36 years ago from a reaction to prescription drugs - will have his life turned into a three-part blockbuster series by loved-ones who want to pay tribute to the star.

Bruce's brother Robert said: "We've read many books and seen many movies about Bruce Lee, but there are many inaccuracies in them."

Actor Tony Leung Chiu Wai has been confirmed to play the part of Bruce's father and 'House of Flying Daggers' director Zhang Yimou - who has shown an interest in the project in the past - is expected to oversee the franchise.

The 'Enter the Dragon' star's loved-ones are now working in conjunction with Hong Kong's JA Media to work on the film - expected to be named after the actor - where they hope to dispel certain untruth's surrounding his life.
