Bill Murray's Ghostbusters hint
Tuesday, 30 September 2008
Bill Murray has hinted he is ready to make another 'Ghostbusters' movie.
The actor has previously said he didn't want to return to his role of Peter Venkman in the franchise, but has now implied he would be willing to make 'Ghostbusters 3'.
He said: "I think the wounds from 'Ghostbusters 2' have healed."
The 58-year-old star said his enthusiasm had been reignited after recording dialogue for an upcoming 'Ghostbusters' video game.
He said: "It was fun to do it again. I found myself walking down Fifth Avenue singing the theme song. People were like, 'That guy's really full of himself!' "
Columbia pictures have recently hired 'The American Office' writers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg to pen the script for a new film - a move which Bill approves off.
He added: "That could work, that's a good idea to get a fresh look at it."
