Christina Ricci will play a crayon in a new movie.
The 'Black Snake Moan' actress will voice Yellow in 'The Hero Of Color City', which follows a bunch of crayons as they fight an evil tyrant who threatens to rid their city of its colour and joy.
The movie will also star 'Pineapple Express' actress Rosie Perez, chat show host Craig Ferguson and 'Igor' voicer Arsenio Hall, and will be directed by Becky Bristow, who previously worked as an animator on 'Rugrats The Movie'.
It is being produced by Exodus Film Group, and is currently being scheduled for release in 2010.
In addition, Simon and Schuster are planning a range of children's books to tie in with the film.
Christina has recently started work alongside Liam Neeson and Justin Long on 'After.Life'.
The psychological thriller sees the actress play a woman trapped between life and death, while Liam plays the seemingly-helpful funeral director intent on burying her alive.
