The X Factor has a scent
Friday, 5 October 2007
Those who cannot get enough of the X Factor may be interested in purchasing a new fragrance inspired by the show.
Manufacturer ScentUps offers both day and night fragrances, which it claims allows access to "the excitement and glamour of becoming a pop star".
"Everyone wants to be part of the X Factor. Now you can, with these trendy and glam perfumes," ScentUps' website claims.
The Day Dream version includes scents of pink grapefruit, roses, amber and sandalwood.
Meanwhile, Night Star offers a plethora of citrus smells, including nectarine, mandarin and pineapple, as well as freesia, jasmine, patchouli and vanilla.
ScentUps also makes body glitters and lip glosses with an X Factor theme.
A spokesperson from the Fragrance Shop, which has begun selling the X Factor perfume, commented: "Since the talent show phenomenon first launched there has been massive debate about just what constitutes the X Factor and more importantly who has it - and now it's been bottled for everyone."
In other X Factor news, Now magazine recently reported that Louis Walsh flew into a rage after he was charged with managing the over-25s, because he had already helped put together two potential winning groups from among the solo contestants.
