EastEnders Rob Kazinsky welcomes new hunk
5 October 2007 - EastEnders star Rob Kazinsky has confessed that he is looking forward to the arrival of a new male hottie in Walford.
Scott Maslen is set to begin a role as Jack Branning on the BBC soap this month. The 36-year-old actor recently quit his role as DS Phil Hunter in The Bill to join EastEnders, where he will play another police officer.
When the change was announced, Scott said he was looking forward to playing "an extremely competitive man who always likes to win in business and in pleasure".
Meanwhile, Rob, 23, told the Daily Star that he would not mind sharing his title of sexiest male soap star.
"I love Scott - he's the new heart-throb and I am more than fine with that," he explained.
"I did the Great North Run with him last year and he's one of the nicest men I have ever met. He's really good-looking - I hope he takes all the attention off me!"
He also expressed admiration for the acting abilities of Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater, saying she was responsible for making him "a much better actor by working with her".
