Bobby Davro's Eastenders fan phobia

10 October 2007 - Bobby Davro fears 'EastEnders' fans will hate him.

The comedian - who made his debut in Albert Square as Vince on Monday night (08.10.07) - believes people want to hit him when they see him in the street.

Bobby told Britain's Inside Soap magazine: " 'EastEnders' is a high-profile show, but I'm already used to the attention which being on telly brings.

"For some reason, I've got a face people remember - they want to hit it!

"Nevertheless, they do remember me, and I'm still very flattered by that."

The 48-year-old entertainer also revealed he was dreading watching himself in the BBC soap.

He said: "I'm not very good at watching myself. My kids have already decided we're having a party the first night I'm on, but all I'll see when I watch the episode is the mistakes I've made, or the things I wish I'd done differently. I'm such a perfectionist - it's my downfall!"
