Halle Berry´s pregnancy mission

Halle Berry had sex at every possible opportunity when she was trying to get pregnant.

The Oscar-winning actress, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend model Gabriel Aubry, was so determined to start a family she gave up socialising for making love.

Halle told US chat show queen Oprah Winfrey: "While I was trying to get pregnant, we tried really hard, so it was a lot of staying home and just doing what you do."

The 41-year-old star revealed she tried everything to conceive, and even believed saving all her negative pregnancy tests would help her chances.

She added: "I'm sort of superstitious, so I saved all of the negative pregnancy tests in a drawer.

"Don't ask! I don't know why, but I did. After about 35 tests, we finally got a positive test."

Although twice-divorced Halle is blissfully happy with Gabriel, 31, she has no plans to walk down the aisle again.

She said: "What Gabriel and I have decided is we will just redefine marriage for ourselves. That paper isn't worth anything to me anymore. I don't want to do that again. I feel more married in a way than I ever have in two marriages before."

Halle's marriage to professional baseball player David Justice ended in divorce after four years in 1996. She separated from her second husband, musician Eric Benét in 2004, and their divorce was finalised a year later.
