High School Musical star has emergency surgery
Zac Efron star of High School Musical was rushed into Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles yesterday. Zac needed emergency surgery to remove his appendix.
His spokeswoman has confirmed that "Zac had his appendix removed and is recuperating."
Zac's fans had been celebrating on Monday when Disney announced that he had signed up for High School Musical 3: Senior Year. Vanessa Hudgens has also signed up.
X Factor fans will have to wait and see if Same Difference get a call to sing in the film.
