The bear who wrestled Will Ferrell in 'Semi Pro' has killed its trainer.

The whole of Hollywood is in shock after a famous bear went bad and attacked it's handler.

Rocky was a beast at 7ft 6in and he bit his handler in the neck.

The trainer lost so much blood he died.

It is not known why Rocky turned on trainer Stephan Miller during a training session.

Miller's cousin Randy owns the 'Predators in Action' park where Rocky was trained. The centre has a near-perfect safety record.

Randy described Rocky as 'the best working bear in the business' but added: "If one of these animals gets a hold of your throat, you're finished."

After the attack, two other bear handlers subdued the animal with pepper spray.

An investigation by the California Department of Fish and Game found no permit violations or danger to public safety.
