Kimberly Wyatt supports Sugababes
Monday, 12 October 2009
Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt is confident the Sugababes will survive, despite the shock departure of Keisha Buchanan.
The last founding member of the British girl band quit last month, but Kimberly, 27, says the Sugababes are the same as her group and can handle the line-up change.
She told Britain's Daily Record newspaper: "Of course the Sugababes can continue with three different people. There is life after the band because people grow as human beings and need to honour their ambitions and dreams.
"The Pussycat Dolls is built like a Broadway show and people come and go. The Pussycat Dolls will continue even if some people leave."
The singer also sent a personal message to ex-Sugababe Keisha, 25, telling her there is life after leaving the group.
But the latest Sugababes line-up - Heidi Range, Amelle Berrabah and new girl Jade Ewen - are already experiencing problems.
The trio were forced to pull out of their first live UK appearance at the Scottish Royal Variety Performance due to legal issues.
The Pussycat Dolls have also been dogged by rumours of in-fighting.
Lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, 31, is believed to be planning to leave to focus on her solo career and to work with Andrew Lloyd Webber on musical 'Love Never Dies' - the sequel to 'The Phantom of the Opera'.
