Spice Girls - Beckham party
Wednesday, 2 January 2008
David Beckham and The Spice Girls celebrated the New Year in style with a party at a swanky London hotel.
The soccer star, who is married to Posh Spice Victoria, joined the reunited girl band for dinner at exclusive restaurant Nobu before heading to Claridge's, where they saw in 2008 with free-flowing champagne.
David and Victoria were the first of the partygoers to leave at 2am and the handsome athlete stunned onlookers with his newly-dyed grey hair.
One said: "He was looking very slick, but his designer stubble was a different colour to the hair on his head."
They were closely followed by Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell, who left the celebrations with her ex-boyfriend, 'Little Britain' star David Walliams.
Scary Spice Mel B, Sporty Spice Mel C and Baby Spice Emma Bunton were the last to leave at 3am, but Mel B took an unfortunate tumble as she came out of the hotel.
The band continue their comeback world tour tonight (02.01.08) at London's 02 arena and have another 13 dates at the venue, before moving on to Manchester.
