Simon Pegg wants his ashes to be blasted into space when he dies.
The 'Spaced' star is eager to undergo the spectacular send-off to emulate 'Star Trek' actor James Doohan, whose remains were launched beyond the Earth's atmosphere in a rocket last April.
Pegg, who will take over Doohan's mantle by playing Scotty in the new 'Star Trek' movie, is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "As James was fired into space I'll have to do that with my ashes.
"At my funeral anything will go dress wise. Don't feel a need to wear black. And I'd have 'Tomorrow Never Knows' by the Beatles playing. I'll get everyone a bit psychedelic.
"Playing Scotty 'Star Trek' is a dream role. The fans are going to be very happy."

Pegg will feature alongside stars including Eric Bana and 'Heroes' actor Zachary Quinto in the eleventh 'Star Trek' film, due out next year.
Doohan took the role of Montgomery 'Scotty' Scott in the original US TV series of 'Star Trek' from 1966 to 1969.
He also played the character in seven big screen movies, most recently in 'Star Trek: Generations' in 1994.
He died in 2005, aged 85.
Two years later his ashes were blasted into space for a total of four minutes before being brought back to earth, as requested in his will.
