Ronnie Wood's divorce deal

Ronnie Wood has offered his estranged wife a £3 million-a-year divorce deal.

The 61-year-old guitarist - whose 23-year marriage to Jo crumbled after he ran away to Ireland with 20-year-old Russian Ekaterina Ivanova in July - is reportedly offering to pay Jo £250,000 a month as well as a multi-million-pound lump sum.

A source told Britain's The News Of The World newspaper: "Ronnie feels the marriage is over but he wants to do the right thing by Jo - even though they have not talked for months."

The Rolling Stones star's fortune is estimated at £70 million, but he is said to be instructing his lawyer - Joyce Smith, who represented Ronnie's bandmate Sir Mick Jagger when he divorced Jerry Hall - to give Jo as much money as she wants in order to secure a settlement outside court.

It has been claimed Jo could receive as much as £50 million in the divorce, with Ronnie keen to end their relationship so he can move on with his life with Ekaterina.

Ronnie reportedly told a friend: "I don't care about the money. Jo can have what she wants. Katia and I are together and I'm happy."

It was recently claimed Jo had vowed to fight to save her marriage, with her adamant she did not want to divorce Ronnie and determined to win him back.

However, she has now given up any hope of a reconciliation and has recently been spotted enjoying nights out with friends in a bid to move on with her life.

Last week Jo partied at an exclusive nightspot in London's Mayfar, with one onlooker saying: "She showed girls half her age how to have a good time."

Ronnie has been romancing Ekaterina since leaving rehab - where he was treated following his drink-fuelled trip to Ireland - in September, and is even said to be planning to take her on tour with him when he reunites with his old band the Faces, scheduled for next year.

While in rehab Ronnie was reported as saying: "I love my wife - but I have a girlfriend and I love her too."
