Robert Pattinson would have never starred in New Moon or Eclipse if he had had his way.
Rob once admitted in an interview that he would have liked to have played evil vampire James.

We are so glad that Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke picked Cam Gigandet for James instead. It would have been rubbish if Rob had played the part as he would have only been in the one movie.
We are thrilled that he plays Edward so will be in all four movies.
Rob told mchen.de: "James. That's the only other character I would have like to have played."
If Robert could have any superpower he would pick the ability to stop and start time.
He has some reservations though: "I don't really want many superpowers because once you have superpowers people will just say 'Hey can you use your superpowers for this.'
"It's like having money, once you have loads of money everyones like 'Can I borrow some money' it's like I don't want to give you any of my superpowers alright."
