He might only be 22 but rumour has it he could be about to snatch roles from Orlando Bloom and Shia LaBeouf if his fan base continues to grow.
The talented English actor has come a long way since playing Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Robert admits that working on Twilight was very different to working on the Harry Potter set.
He told Reelz Channel: "It's different. By the time I was doing Harry Potter, there had already been three made, so it was a kind of slick machine by the time I got into it. With Twilight, people didn't realize the extent of what it was (at first).
"It kept growing and growing. We kept having to reformulate how to make it as it got bigger. You start out thinking you're making this, basically, independent movie. It's with a medium-sized studio. We definitely weren't making it as a blockbuster. There aren't big names in it. Luckily, (the hype) didn't happen until the end of shooting.
"It's funny, because we were thinking "How do you set this thing up for a franchise?" They don't change. He doesn't age. And also because it's a supernatural thing, you have to lay down the ground rules. There was tons and tons of thought that had to be put into it. A lot of it was just off the cuff."
