Robert Pattinson might be busy filming in New York but he still has time for his fans.

One lucky New Moon fan has told Robert Pattinson.org what happened when she went to see him earlier this week.

Carol's RP report

"I talked to a few fans that were gathered across the street from the trailers and I asked where Rob was? They were very nice and friendly and proceeded to tell me that Rob was in that trailer... they pointed it out for me and I was GOING NUTZ, I WAS ACROSS THE STREET FROM RP! Then they told me that some very lucky fans were there since 6:00AM and they got a pic and a hug from Rob Himself!!! I wanted to die right there and I was cursing my lazy behind for not getting up earlier to see Rob. Lesson learned? WAKE UP EARLY, they say in Spanish and in English "THE EARLY BIRD CATCHES THE WORM" so I was really mad that I didn't follow my original plan and wasn't there at 6 am as I had intented to be.

"I started to text my friend when I heard everybody GASP in unison! When I whipped my head around there was the whole commotion, there he was. They were walking really fast, and there were like 10 people around him, when I was able to function enough to press the shoot button on my camera they were kind of far and the picture came out blurry... when I tried again I only got his back! At that point I was ecstatic and frustrated at the same time because I was seeing him THERE in the FLESH and he was just as beautiful if not more than in the pics (I was convinced there had to be an enhancer in all the cameras that took pics of him... there was NO WAY that man could be THAT beautiful...) But I was wrong. My eyes didn't deceive me... He IS that beautiful... in person even more than through the lens of some camera.

"So the guy that had told us we had to behave also told us we had to wait until he was safely on set so that we could go on to see. We patiently waited until he told us it was ok to go closer to the set to watch. The minute he said it was OK, we ran as fast as we could to be able to get the best position that would allow the best line of view.

"Unfortunately all the spots (I went to each and every one of them) were blocking us from seeing him. If it wasn't the trees it was the Alice in Wonderland Statue so I situated myself where I thought I had the best chance of at least getting a peek of him. We were far and the statue was in the way but I was positioned in a place where I could see his beautiful face (everything else was blocked by the statue) then a kid that was in the shot would get on my line of sight and I would get so upset I wanted to throw a shoe or a stone or yell at him "GET OUT OF MY WAY." But I had to bite my anger back because if I followed any of my impulses I was sure to be kicked out of the set and have my pic hung around any set they filmed "PLEASE KEEP HER OUT SHE IS DANGEROUS" so I had to be content with whatever I could get.

"So as time went by, he would move here and there and I would see him and lose him. After almost 2 hours I saw his security gathering around him and they started walking away from set and towards the path that was not even 3 feet away from me... I was going into ROBERLOAD. So while he was walking towards us (where the fans were) we were all spread in a line along the barricade and he looked my direction (I'm not going to be pretentious and say that he looked at ME and smiled then looked down. I WAS IN HEAVEN.

"After lunch they took apart the stuff they had on set and moved them to another part of the park away from where we were. I saw all this going on and got a little suspicious. I went and asked a lady crew member if they were going to film again at the same location, she was like "I don't know but your best shot is to go back and wait by where we were filming before". I didn't believe her, I realized she was trying to deceive me and have me stay away from where they were re-setting the set. So I snuck my way around and went to the place behind the barricades they were setting up so that fans wouldn't ruin the shot. More fans started to come by and gather around where I was.

"I had Prime location. It was a really uncomfortable spot because it was uneven ground and I was trying to prop myself up in the roots of the tree where I had a better line of sight but still it was one of the best spots in the place to get pics of Rob. I was so mad I didn't have a BIG camera with a big lens.

"They explained the rules if we were to stay and watch we had to be really quiet and not use flash photography, or that would distract the stars and ruin the shots on the film. So we had to take off the flash and stand really quietly while they where rehearsing. I got some pretty good long distance shots of him on the bike rehearsing the scenes. Then the director I think Mr. Coulter came out and thanked us for being there and coming to watch and very kindly explained the rules again so that we could stay on set and watch but not disturb the production then he said thanks once again and left. At that point they were rehearsing and one of the security guards was standing RIGHT IN MY LINE OF SIGHT! I was MADDDD I wanted to yell at him "GET OUT OF MY WAY" but I knew I was going to get screamed at if I did.

"Then all of the sudden a line of papz started to form right in front of me... I guess they also thought my spot was good for taking pictures and blocked me from seeing my Angel! I was about to throw a fit and really send a rock flying in that particular direction to hit any of the 20 papz that were standing in front of me and blocking me from seeing RP in all his glory. I called to a very nice crew member. A tall white guy and asked him to please ask them to MOVE from that spot because they were blocking our line of sight. He said sorry they are just "A**ho**s" and there is nothing we can do about it. So another crew member came and told them that if they got their shot to please move along because they were blocking the walk way the park had asked them to keep free of fans and staff so that the park goers could still walk around the park. The Papz started getting nasty, complaining that they had make them move several times and the crew member just went and got some police officers to MAKE them move from there.

"At last I was seeing RP in all his glory again. It was getting darker, and it was threatening to rain so they started experimenting around the area with the bright lights to make sure they got the best angles and the best lighting possible for the shot.

"So I saw they were picking up stuff and started carrying it to where the trucks were, so I was getting ready to RUN back to his trailer the minute I saw him walking off of set. So a few minutes later he started, very subtly, walking toward his security and they gathered around him and started walking away from set. I was ready to run and get back to his trailer in hopes to see him up close one last time. So there I was, a whole bunch of girls were already waiting there so I went there myself because I wasn't going to watch his beauty from afar. A few minutes later a gray car came in trough that street and he got out and into 1 trailer in a flash... it was sooooo fast that I didn't even see him? I guess the speed of a vampire stayed with him after New Moon. So I was more attentive now... watching and waiting until he came out of that trailer... the door opened a couple of times we used to get excited then let down every time we realized it wasn't him. Then as quickly as he came in he came out and moved to the second trailer where he was earlier... again I wasn't fast enough to get a pic or a video but I was really drooling looking at him in all his perfection.

"Then all hell wanted to break loose on us! The sky looked dark and it was really windy. It looked as if a tornado would form, if such thing were possible in NY! So the girls stared screaming because they knew they were going to get wet. I didn't scream because I was ready for the elements and didn't care to get wet if I got to see him up close again. The selfish little monster inside of me was praying for the rain to come down a little faster so that the other girls that were afraid to get wet would leave and I would have more RP for myself. SORRY SURVIVAL OF THE STRONGEST lol.

"So there we were, waiting for RP to come out of the trailer it was going to start raining cats and dogs with thunder and all! A girl next to me said... "I hope I don't get struck by lightning for standing here waiting for Robert Pattinson". I was like BRING IT ON MOTHER NATURE I AM NOT MOVING FROM HERE UNTIL HE COMES OUT OF THERE! So some drops started falling, a girl opened her umbrella in front of me and I kindly asked her to either close it or move to the back because she was blocking my view of the trailer. I guess she decided that closing it and getting wet was a better idea than having all the other fans that were behind her carry her to the back of the line. We were waiting camera ready when HE in all of HIS glory came out! He was sporting a blue zip up sweater, a Baseball Cap, and jeans. I was DYING he was so close! He was smiling at the commotion and all the crazy girls (including myself)... it was perfect closure to my wonderful day on set!"
