Paul McCartney's budget Hamptons house
Wednesday, 1 April 2009
Sir Paul McCartney is building a $200,000 guesthouse on his Hamptons estate.
The Beatles legend already has two properties on his land in the exclusive New York area and is adding a modest three-bedroom, two-bathroom home.
Paul and his girlfriend Nancy Shevell toured the grounds of the Amagansett estate for almost an hour on Sunday (29.03.09) to see how the new house was coming along.
Although the couple are improving their New York estate, their main base is Paul's UK home Peasmarsh in East Sussex.
A family friend said: "Paul and Nancy are as solid a couple as you can get after just a short time together. She always seems to be at Peasmarsh anyway so it made sense to him just to ask her to move in.
"She'll still travel between the UK and her base in the US but is setting up home with Paul."
