Nicole Richie gets celebrity advice

Pop star Ashlee Simpson has given Nicole Richie some advice.

Last week we reported that Nicole had been offered the part of Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago.

Nicole is still considering whether to take up the offer. She only gave birth to her daughter on January 12th.

Ashlee Simpson played Roxie for five weeks in 2006.

She told OK magazine her advice for Nicole: "Work really hard, and say your prayers!"

Ashlee added: "It's a lot of hard work and it's a great, fantastic show and I would love to do it again."

The singer has a new album coming out soon. She told OK magazine: "It's going well.

"I'm busy hitting up all the radio stations now. We have a new single, 'Little Miss Obsessive,' coming out.

"Everything is great!"
