Lionel Richie wants sports star grandson

Nicole Richie's newborn son already has an American football helmet.
The star's father Lionel Richie is determined for Sparrow - who was born last Wednesday (09.09.09) - to play the sport, and claims it is never too early for a boy to start practising.
He said: "I've already bought the baby a football helmet. They told me it wasn't time yet.
"Sparrow may not be a football playing name, but he'll get bruised somewhere in the game."
Lionel, 60, is thrilled to be a grandfather again - Nicole and her Good Charlotte rocker partner Joel Madden already have 20-month-old daughter Harlow together - but still can't get used to the title.
He explained: "I am so proud of Nicole and Joel. Nicole is the happiest woman ever. She is just in total control. I'm the one that's nervous!
"He looks just like Harlow. All babies sort of look the same as their siblings, but this is identical.
"When I hear the words Papa or Popi, forget about it. I was so happy when Harlow was born but now we have Sparrow - it's just over the top!"
Lionel also revealed Harlow is revelling in her role as a big sister, but the family isn't sure she understands the baby is a permanent addition.
He explained: "Harlow right now is enjoying the baby, until she finds out it's staying!"
