Miley Cyrus gets a Playboy offer
Monday, 12 May 2008
Hugh Hefner wants 15-year-old Miley Cyrus to pose naked in Playboy.
The 82-year-old tycoon thinks the 'Hannah Montana' star - who recently caused controversy by posing in just a blanket in Vanity Fair magazine for photographer Annie Leibovitz - would be a hit with readers of the adult magazine when she turns 18.
He said: "She would be welcomed in the magazine. She's a very pretty lady."
Hugh - who has three live-in girlfriends - also insists he can't understand the fuss caused over the Vanity Fair shoot.
He added to US TV show 'Extra': "I think to make such a big to-do over something as innocent as those photos. I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality."
If Miley accepts Hugh's offer, she would be the latest in a long line of celebrities to appear in the magazine.
Denise Richards, Drew Barrymore and Pamela Anderson have previously bared all for the publication.
Hugh founded Playboy magazine in 1953.
It has now grown from a monthly magazine to Playboy Enterprises Inc. which is run by Hugh's daughter Christie.
