Dark Knight will wipe box office floor with Mamma Mia

Mamma Mia star Meryl Streep might be smiling now but Christian Bale is set to wipe the smile from her face next week.
Despite Mamma Mia breaking the record for the biggest film opening for a musical in the UK it looks like it will get a thrashing in the box office charts from the new Batman film when it is released on July 18th.
The Abba movie has taken over £7.6 million in the UK so far but early predictions show that The Dark Knight is set to rake in at least £50 million in it's first weekend world wide.
Heath Ledger's death has changed The Dark Knight from a boy's superhero movie to a must-see movie for everyone.
A box office insider told USA Today: "It's gone beyond a comic-book movie.
"Now teen girls want to see it. Now it's Heath's last movie. Now it's a farewell."
Experts predict that The Dark Knight will be so popular that it will be in cinemas for months...will Mamma Mia be able to rake back it's £33 million budget?
Meryl Streep certainly thinks it will. She told The Telegraph: "The songs are timeless, they just enter your body.
"When I came to learn them, I found I knew every single line. They have amazing hooks and great melodies."
