Eddie Murphy to sue Mel B

Eddie Murphy has said that he is going to sue ex-girlfriend Mel B over "lies" she has told about him.
In a letter to the Spice Girl, Murphy's lawyer said that she has engaged in defamation and extortion.
"You have been engaging in a pattern of disseminating disparaging, negative and defamatory statements about Mr Murphy, portraying him in a false and outrageous light in order to pressure Mr Murphy to capitulate to your highly unreasonable extortionate demands," the letter said.
It also claimed that Mel B's lawyer demanded that Murphy buy her a million-dollar Malibu home which she can live in for the next 18 years.
Mel B gave birth to Murphy's daughter Angel Iris earlier this year and has said that the Nutty Professor actor has not paid a penny of child support. Murphy's lawyers deny this claim.
She was recently spotted having lunch with Murphy's ex-wife, Nicole Mitchell, at exclusive LA restaurant The Ivy.
