Kerry Katona's week could get no worse after her shambolic appearance on This Morning, the sacking of publicist and close friend Max Clifford and the reported loss of her magazine column... or so you'd think.

But no, the 28 year-old Warrington mum-of-four is set to continue this bizarre episode in her life by spending money on tests to show she's not an alcoholic.

And she's going to publish the results!

She told the Daily Mirror :"I’m going to Harley Street to have a test to show that I’m not an alcoholic. It’s just not right.

"I’m being attacked for an illness. My slurring words is down to the pills."

This follows a disastrous This Morning interview in which the former Atomic Kitten star was quizzed if she was an alcoholic after slurring her words and appearing very confused in front of camera.

Kerry blames the erratic behaviour on prescription medicine for her well-publicised Bipolar disorder.

Katona recently hit back at interviewers Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton, insisting they should have been more sympathetic towards her.

She told OK! Magazine: "They were out to get me and that's exactly what they did.

"Rather than addressing the nation about an illness that affects so many people, they decided to ambush me.

"It felt as though they thought I had a drinking problem - but I'm not an alcoholic.

"I feel completely stitched up."

Kerry added that her relationship with the This Morning hosts was now finished.
