Kelly Brook says people are often surprised by her intelligence when they meet her.
The British TV presenter admits most fans think she is like her on-screen persona, and are stunned when they find out she isn't.
Kelly, who is a judge on TV talent show 'Dirty Dancing: The Time Of Your Life', said: "People are always surprised at how deep I am and how sincere I can be because I always pretend to be silly and giggly on TV."
Kelly, who recently separated from fiance Billy Zane, has also revealed her biggest phobia - spiders.
The 28-year-old beauty said: "I really hate spiders in the bath. I've got a friend who calls the gas man when she gets one. When they send a big butch man who can't find a leak, she asks if he would mind moving the spider while he's there."
