Kelly Brook once struggled in a dishonest relationship.
The brunette beauty - who has previously dated actors Billy Zane and Jason Statham - found herself trapped in an unhappy romance with no idea how to end the union.
Kelly, who is currently dating British rugby star Danny Cipriani, admitted: "I've been heartbroken and rejected and felt frustrated, and been with someone who couldn't be honest with me.
"People stay in relationships for longer than they should. Sometimes they don't know how to get out of them and sometimes they try and treat the other person badly rather than just saying, 'I don't want to be with you anymore.' Or they wait for someone better to come along.
"But for whatever reason, because human beings in general are needy, clingy people, it's a bit bold to just break away from a relationship and launch into the unknown."
Kelly also claimed people expect her life to be trouble-free because of her appearance and fame.
She added to Britain's The Guardian newspaper: "People think if you're a celebrity and if you're beautiful or slim, then life is a bed of roses. Or they think that if you're wealthy you don't have normal relationship problems because why would anyone reject you? But life isn't like that."
