Peter Andre laughs off love claims

Peter Andre has laughed off claims he has a new girlfriend.

The 'Behind Closed Doors' singer insists estranged wife Katie Price's recent comments that he is dating a new woman and even kissed her in front of their four-year-old son Junior are untrue.

He said: "This is such a load of rubbish. The only girl Junior has seen me with is my new nanny Nita and I haven't been kissing her anywhere! Can I just say that A, if I had a girlfriend I'd be singing it from the hilltops, and B, I would never kiss another woman in front of my children unless it was a very serious relationship and C, if I have a girlfriend, why has no one seen a picture of us together?"

The pop star - who split from Katie in May - also claimed he feels like Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole in the wake of his split.

Cheryl's professional success skyrocketed last year when she joined the judging panel of 'The X Factor', but her personal happiness plummeted when she discovered her soccer player husband Ashley had cheated on her.

Peter - whose new LP 'Revelation' is currently at number three in the UK album chart - told New! magazine: "It's funny because I remember Cheryl Cole saying last year that she'd had the best and worst year of her life, what with Ashley allegedly cheating on her and her huge success on 'The X Factor' and I feel a bit like that at the moment. These past few months have been horrific on a personal level but on a professional level I've honestly never been happier. I think personal heartbreak spurs you on to do well because you need to focus on other things."
