Peter Andre brands Katie 'desperate'

Peter Andre has branded Katie Price "desperate".

The 'Behind Closed Doors' singer has blasted his estranged wife - who he split from in May - for her wild antics and the claims she has made since they parted ways, saying he no longer understands her.

He told Britain's New! magazine: "Katie is so unpredictable because in one breath she's saying she'd like to have more of my kids because they'd be beautiful, and in another she's saying how she's over me already and how she was more upset over Dane Bowers. Charming!

"It's all getting a bit desperate if you ask me. Her comment about us having more kids together made me laugh out loud. As much as I love and adore the children we have together, there no way I'd ever have any more with Kate. We are not together!

"I don't even feel like I know her anymore. "

The star - who raises three children with the former glamour model, seven-year-old stepson Harvey, Junior, four, and Princess Tiaamii, two - also admits he is tiring of Katie's negative comments about him.

Pete claims she verbally attacked him throughout their marriage and he hoped their split would bring an end to it.

He added: "Kate has been putting me down for five-and-half-years and it's a real shame she doesn't see fit to stop it now we're not even together. She makes jibes at me constantly and it really upsets me that she uses the kids to do it."

Despite his unhappiness at Katie's jibes, Peter took a swipe of his own about the brunette beauty's love life.

He said: "Apparently, she's definitely dating that guy Alex Reid and he has been staying at her house, so she has moved on very quickly. Mind you, she's been linked to so many men I can't keep up!"
