Katie Price's new lover was arrested by police over a £2 million drugs haul.
The glamour model's latest boyfriend, cage fighter Alex Reid, was held by officers in 2003 after they raided 42 addresses across the south of England, one of which was his gym.
More than £2 million of ecstasy, cocaine and cannabis were found and the gym's then-owner Benjamin Rickwood was one of seven members of a major gang jailed for 42 years.
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "It was such a big operation that the police just rounded up everyone at the gym thinking they could all be involved. Alex was shocked to be held and questioned, and to discover what had been going on around him.
"He had no idea of the scale of criminal activity being plotted by others so close to him. But the police soon realised Alex had nothing to do with drugs or crime."
Katie - also known as Jordan - began dating Alex earlier this month following her split from estranged husband Peter Andre.
The 31-year-old beauty - who raises three children with the 'Behind Closed Doors' singer - is said to be smitten with the hunk and has fuelled speculation the couple are set to wed after she was seen trying on dresses in a bridal boutique.
Katie, who was accompanied by her two-year-old daughter Princess Tiaamii, paraded around in a gown at Doly's in London's exclusive New Bond Street.
