MTV VMA Awards 2008 - Kanye West beats Russell Brand

America needed a hero last night after Russell Brand managed to ridicule several stars during the MTV VMA Awards.
Kanye West decided to step forward, and his performance of his new song 'Love Lockdown' certainly shut Brand up.
Surrounded by several drummers Kanye looked every inch the star in a stylish grey suit with a glowing red heart on the lapel.

The performance surprised many Kanye fans as the Gold Digger hitmaker had previously vowed to never return to the VMA Awards after failing to win an award last year.
The night definately ended with Kanye the hero and Brand the zero.
Rumour has it that the public would love Brand to be banished from America for his insults.
Will we see him on our TV screens again? Only time will tell...
