Ricky Wilson loves being mistaken for Ewan McGregor.
The bearded Kaiser Chiefs frontman has revealed he was flattered when a drunken member of the public confused him for the Scottish actor, who sported a mass of facial hair for his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the 'Star Wars' films.
Ricky said: "I'm not saying I look like Ewan McGregor but I was waiting to get on a train the other day and there were these drunk blokes on the platform.
"One of them goes, 'Oi' and my reaction is, 'Here we go, he's going to start singing 'Ruby' to me.'
"And he yells, 'Oi! Obi-Wan Kenobi, where's your f***ing motorbike'.
"But at least it makes a change from what I usually get shouted at me!"
McGregor has twice undertaken epic globetrotting motorcycle adventures with his friend and fellow actor Charley Boorman, which were filmed for TV shows 'The Long Way Round' and 'The Long Way Down'.
