Jessica Simpson's boyfriend Tony Romo says her love has made him fearless.

The American football star was honoured at Cosmopolitan magazine's Fun Fearless Male of the Year Awards yesterday (03.03.08) alongside Jessica's ex-boyfriend John Mayer and one time rumoured beau Dane Cook, and was quick to point out the link between the nominees.

He quipped: "I was thinking, you have me, John Mayer and Dane Cook. If you date Jessica Simpson, I guess you're fun and fearless!

"Jessica and I don't usually have conversations about how fun and fearless I am, but I'm a pretty fun guy. I joke a lot."

Tony denied rumours the pair, who have been dating since last November ,are planning to tie the knot, saying he wants to get married, but not yet.

He said: "It's just rumours. That's what people say. I'm sure I'll get married one day. I don't know when though."

The 27-year-old sportsman also spoke about Jessica's upcoming country album.

He enthused: "Jessica is working really hard. She's doing a great job, and I'm really excited about the way it sounds. It sounds real good. I'm excited for her."

Meanwhile, Jessica showed her sexy side when she gave Tony a lap dance at Los Angeles nightclub Villa on Saturday (01.03.08).

Accompanied by Jessica's former assistant Cacee Cobb and her 'Scrubs' actor boyfriend Donald Faison, the pair danced and laughed throughout the night.

One onlooker said: "Jessica was super social and energetic. She was singing and dancing with everyone. When they played Shakira and Wyclef Jean's 'Hips Don't Lie', Jessica gave Tony a really raunchy lap dance.

"Everyone at the table was dancing goofy and laughing throughout the night."
