John Mayer's Aniston fame hate

John Mayer is begging the paparazzi to stop following him because he feels he will become more famous as a celebrity than a singer.
Since the Dreaming With a Broken Heart singer hooked up with the Along Came Polly actress Jennifer Aniston, the couple have become hot property, with photographers following their every move.
Mayer fears the attention could damage his reputation as a serious artist.
He said: "I don't have a problem with my privacy as much as I have a problem with people messing with my message.
"If you're going to take pictures of me doing mundane stuff, will you at least take pictures of me playing guitar? Because, right now, it looks like all I do is drink coffee and do dry cleaning and go eat dinner."
He wants people to realise that being followed by photographers is not fun: "These moments (of being chased by photographers) are not at all rosy, are seemingly earthquakes of frustration and anxiety."
Jennifer recently flew into London to be close to Mayer during his UK tour. He will be in performing at Glastonbury this weekend.
