Did Jay-Z or P. Diddy discover Mark Ronson?

It appears superstar rappers Jay-Z and Sean "P. Diddy" Combs have fallen out over none other than Brit-of-the-moment Mark Ronson.
Both hip-hop stars claim to have discovered the superproducer - whose debut album "Version" has recently gone double platinum.
Big Pimpin' hitmaker Jay-Z is adamant he's the one who turned music producer Ronson into the success he is today.
This is after the two worked together on Jay-Z's Fade to Black soundtrack.
But P. Diddy refuses to let Jay - real name Shawn Carter - take the credit for the DJ's high profile.
Jay-Z says: "Me and Diddy have arguments about who discovered him.
"I'm still saying it was me."
