If their first child was a girl many expectant mothers would love baby no 2 to be a boy. There's something special about having one of each.
Of course, the most important thing is having a healthy baby. All mothers want that more than anything.
It is common knowledge that teenage mums tend to have another baby soon after their first so we shouldn't be too shocked if the rumours that Jamie Lynn is expecting again are true.
After all, who can blame her. She has a loving partner, a beautiful daughter and a home most of us can only dream of.
There is no need for her to rush back to work and if the rumours are true won't it be wonderful for baby Maddie. She would have a little brother or sister to play with.
The National Enquirer broke the news by stating that Jamie Lynn "is now expecting for the second time - a mere three months after giving birth on June 19 to baby Maddie Briann."
It is also alleged that Lynne Spears was furious when she found out baby no 2 was on its way.
